I am VERY pleased that this committee is being appointed and getting
quickly to work. We have not been proactive enough in this area, and,
frankly, I have failed to get the Academic Council excited enough about
it. At our retreat last week, Joel got them somewhat more interested.
We must be at the leading edge of using advanced technology for
education. I strongly believe that there are enormously important
things to be discovered and developed in this area.
