As the Sr. Systems Manager in the EE/CS Dept. at M.I.T. my job consists of primary systems support (hacking). The ECF group is responsible for all of the educational and administrative computing in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department here at MIT.

Among the supported platforms are: HP/UX, Ultrix, FreeBSD and A/UX (Apple Unix). I handle the operating system, network and security issues on all of these platforms along with an endless array of details surrounding the operation of a large internet site. I also evaluate new software and hardware for use in our daily lives. More on ECF
