I have just learned about a "faculty forum" to be presented on November
7 (Monday) starting at 2:00, devoted to educational uses of WWW. The
topic seems to be of immediate and direct interest to our topic. Here
is all I know:

Topic: Educational Uses of the World Wide Web at MIT

Abstract:

Several Institute faculty are discovering that the WWW is a useful tool
in their teaching.

Professor John Belcher
-How the WWW can be used to display animations of magnetic
fields and other Physics experiments

Ms. Katherine Poole
-How the WWW can revolutionize the way digital images (slides) are
used in courses in Art and Architecture

Professor Vernon Ingram
-How the WWW helps provide for learning in a non-traditional
environment, such as the student-led Experimental Studies Group's
version of Introductory Biology (7.01).
