I have heard from you all about the draft report. As you recall,
most sections were available in "DRAFT 0" form. Missing were a
section on educational uses, three sections on recommendations
(short, medium, and long range) and the executive summary.

There was no disagreement with the proposed format (as an
on-line hyper document) or the structure (the particular topics
for particular pages). There were some minor points, such as
titles of pages not agreeing with the Table of Contents. At
this point I have fixed a bunch of minor things and addressed
a few of the substantive comments but not all. I have put in
place an arrangement that permits updating of the pages but keeps
for reference earlier drafts of all pages. The updates should be
on the computer today (Monday, 3/6/95). I propose that I will
gradually address the more major substantive points made by
committee members. I will ask Vera to set up a committee meeting
soon where we can consider the recommendations.

Please, as an assignment for that meeting, make your own list of
recommendations so that the meeting can be usefully spent going
